Frequently Asked Questions:
Why donate?
Triangle Pool is a community run pool that depends on membership dues, swim team fees and swim lesson fees to keep the pool running. However membership fees and maintenance fees alone are just enough to keep up with basic operations of the pool.
Donations from our members and community are needed for necessary repairs and capital improvement projects.

Why are we not rebuilding the whole pool and getting a brand new pool?
The cost of building a brand new pool would be a well over a million dollars. With the pool’s status we may also face difficulties obtaining a large loan to cover the full/partial cost. Moreover, the cost of a new pool, even with a fully funded loan, would mean a significant increase in membership dues which we are not sure our membership can sustain. Our goal is to keep maintaining the pool operational through large and small projects, for the community to enjoy for many years to come.
